I heard many people around the world raise hedgehogs.

A hedgehog is any of the small spiny mammal. Although they belong to insectivore, hedgehogs are almost omnivorous. They eat insects, snails, frogs, snakes, mushrooms, grass roots and berries. All species for pet prefer a warm climate (above 72°F/22°C) and do not hibernate. Commonly, people who look after hedgehogs feed them with cat food. However, cat food or dog food sometimes causes liver damage. Accordingly, these days, many pet stores sell crickets, mealworms, and baby mice as food for hedgehogs. On the other hand, it is illegal to own a hedgehog as a pet in some country.

I want to buy one... it's so cute... but I don't know whether it is legal or not in Canada...
